Yuyang Zhang
Yuyang Zhang (b. 1993 Wuhan, China, he/him) is an interdisciplinary artist currently living in Portland, Oregon. His practice investigates topics related to personal and cultural identity, as well as social and political issues. His paintings and collages investigate the fusion of Chinese propaganda posters and pop culture in a way that is witty, quirky, sometimes queer, and always relevant.
